got me a new QH

hey all yall. thx for the advise i got me a QH stud and he is so sweet and lazy but i thought a 3 year old stud would be a lil crazy but he is some thing like brain dead. when i rode him the other day he acted so calm but wouldnt go forwards but backed. i expected that from a 3 year old colt that hasnt droped yet.:cheer:

That is great you found a horse, sometimes you know young studs are just so calm and good but pray somewhere in the back of your mind that they do drop, because surgery is very expensive if they do not drop. Someday he will notice the girls. It would be real nice if they were right there to get to, when that day comes. Now we need pictures, of your new wonderful horse you will be training to ride.

Good luck with your new horse. My boy forgot he was gelded and I used a herb called chaste berry on mine so he'd forget about the girls. It did work too... hmy:

he is droped now but doesnt care about the 3 mares in the pasture.. infact we put him in with a gelding and casey(appaloosa the one i cant do anything with) and hes just grazing. he is a lil cow-hocked in the back feet...we havent seen him do what he can REALLY do yet but i want to see and maybe he will be a great barrel horse..:laugh:

You are so cute ...can I say that You do know not all studs are mean and nasty beasts. Does not mean when you are not looking they are not making babies, when that mare comes in heat. I am just so happy you found such a nice horse. He really sounds wonderful but does he have a name or is it QH Stud...LOL :laugh: Still waiting on some pictures. But hey Casey is a Appy and Your new horse a QH might make for a nice little spotted foal come spring, make one baby and have him cut, if there both registered you make some money. You want to do this for a living right have a talk with your parents see what they think. if it would be a good learning experience for you.
