The coolest thing I ever did was go deer hunting with hubby for a week with a couple horses. Of course only my daughter and I rode horses. The boys rode 4-wheelers. Getting up every morning crack of dawn saddling up and riding all day until just before dark in very beautiful country was a blast. It was more of a private place and not to many hunters out and about. It was tuff at times, like when we ran low on water and had to go find some. But still a total blast.
Swimming at the beach jeans and all the horses loved it. Had to hold on to thier mains as the rains got really slippery.
Been on while they were swimming. It feels relly strange, the way they move underneath you.
Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today!
BRING OUR REAL HORSESRING BACK!
I have a few, one is when at a horse camp we did a group gallop across a huge open paddock. The sound of thundering hooves was thrilling. There was at least twenty of us.
Another time would be when we took the horses to the beach and galloped in the shallow waves and over the sand.
Or when we rode inthe santa parade on our horses for Pony club.
and best of all was when I took my little horse Jasper into a retirement home. Jasper introduced himself to all the residents. He placed his head in their laps and let them pat him. Oh ok and he tried to eat their flowers and books but overall he behaved well (for Jasper).
Also doing a street parade with then pony club being the lead horse. Then doingy the same parade a few years later in our Arabian costums and hearing poeples coments as you road past.

I think the coolest thing I ever did on a horse was rode my Arabian gelding through a pine forest with about a foot of snow on the ground in a good driving snow. It felt magical. It wasn't really windy, just an awful lot of snow swirling around us. That horse loved the snow.
