    You will never guess what Dasho did today!

    I was leading him for a walk on the beach, which is 5 minutes walk either end from our house. He wanted to play in the water and i didn't want to get my feet wet, so he pulled at the rope a bit. It came untied from the clip on his halter. I grabbed his halter, took the clip off to tie the rope back on it and he turned around. I told him to stand up, but he started walking. I told him to stand a bit louder and walked forward to grab his halter and he started trotting towards home. I chased after him (telling him to whoa) he got off the beach up onto the grass, and stopped. I walked up to him but he wheeled around and cantered the whole way home. I followed him, and tried to catch up before he got to the four way intersection that goes to our road. But i got puffed half way and had to walk. Lucky there weren't many cars around at the time. By the time i got home he was standing my the gate grazing and someone that was walking past had got his halter. :evil:

    Guess what? I was walking (today) dash and my goat on the beach-see my other forum in general disscussions called pet goats for full deatails. And this guy got out of his 4 whell drives, asked if Scruff would butt, then he goes how much would you want for that horse? I and i said he isn't for sale. Then he kept saying all this stuff. Dasho is a standardbred and an ex-pacer. He is 20 years old. And has a slipped out back that we are waiting for the chiropracter to see. And this man kept going on about having trotters and that Dash was a trotter. I told him heaps that he was a pacer. I said he was 20 and he said Dasho was in very good nick then. No-one believes me when i tell them he is that old. I said that he had a slipped out back and the man said not to waste money on a chiropracter and because he is 20 he is entitled to have a sore back. But we know it can be fixed. bears boss had a horse that a slipped out back and the transformation on her attitude afetr getting it fixed was great. I rode her all the time. She used to buck and prance and stuff. I got on her yesterday for a ride and she was great. So i still going to get the chiropracter to see Dash. But it was kinda weird that this random person wanted to buy my horse! This man has trotters he told me. I'm not sure why he wants and older ex-race horse. and dash is only 15 hands and is very small for a race horse. But he still seemed interested anyway.

    Me, scruffy and Dasho went for a walk to the beach again yesterday. We get such funny looks. Our tracks on the beach do look rather odd. Horse, person, goat.

    Dasho!{Communicate-00020110}
    I like to listen stories about horse owners and their horses so keep telling such stories.
    I walked up to him but he wheeled around and cantered the whole way home...
    I followed him, and tried to catch up...
    But i got puffed half way and had to walk...
    This story sounds like story about me and my russian trotter Courageous...He always do this way {Feel-good-00020069}
    (His grandpa was standardbred too....)
    But usually it is not so scary because we don't have a road close to our stable (Thank's God....)

    I think that he told that becuse he wanted to buy your horse.I guess it was something like: "This horse have some problems... why do you need this problems?...You won't fix it...You don't need him with his problems... bla-bla-bla..."
    Don't pay attention when you hear this. Keep love him and keep take care of him. And I'm sure that love and care will do their best!
