bad injury on my horse

today my mom put up her clothes line for the first time since we got horses. and i usally ride in that area. and so today she out it up so she could dry her certains. and i was galloping fast and i hit the clothes line! my whole arm is cut very badley and i am hurting pretty bad. and i have a horse show this satuerday. but thankfully i am still able to go just thought i would let you know . it scared me pretty bad lol

OH I HOPE YOUR OK..THAT TOOK ME BACK MANY MANY YRS AGO WHEN I CAME CHARGING THREW THE BACK YARD AND CAUGHT THE LINE ACROSS MY NECK.IT FLIPED ME BACKWARD OFF THE SADDLE AND I LANDED ON THE BACK OF MY NECK AND HEAD AND FOLDED OVER WITH MY LEGS OVER THEM..I WAS UNCOUNCIOUS FOR OVER 24 HOURS IM LUCKY I DIDNT BREAK MY NECK AND BACK..STILL HAVE A SCAR ON MY NECK FROM IT..THE HORSES I WAS RIDEING WAS FROM MY HACK STABLE .HE CAME TO A STOP THE MINET I STARTED TO ROLL OFF I REMMEBER THAT THEN ALL WENT BLANK AND DAD SAID HE STOOD THERE EVENDENTLY UNTILL MY HE FOUND ME..NEVER LEFT MY SIDE...BUT EVERY TIME I SEE A LINE I REMEMBER HOW LUCY I AM TO BE ALIVE LOL...NO LINES HERE FOR SURE HAHA..HOPE YOU HEEL FAST AND STAY AWAY FROM THOSE CLOTHS LINE ..

I am sure you both were shocked when you guys came galloping around to see the clothes line so close. hmy: I am so sorry you got hurt. I am glad to hear that it is not so bad that you will miss the show but I bet you are real sore. I hope you heal well and quickly. Don't forget to post and let us know how you did at the show later.

So sorry to hear that Cowgirl54 I can't help but think this might have turned out more gruesome if it weren't your arm but other bodyparts that would have taken "the blow" and start to pale just thinking of it hmy:

Attack of the Clothes Lines... Could be a movie in that one guys.. hmy: I'd watch it.. Better than 'Snakes on a Plane' which is just weird :whistle: ..

well i did end up going to the barrel racing show it was so much fun!! you could win up to 10,000$!!! i didnt win anything because there where 342 horses competing that where better. i i didnt care i was just glad that i had lots and lots of fun!:woohoo:
