Honey - 2007/02/16 20:14 My question is" Is honey okay for horses? or is it really bad for them? I just want to know because I bought one of the horses that I ride a Likit that is flavored "Honey and Chamomile" and i think he really liked it so I want to see if he likes honey, but I don't want to give him something that could harm him.

Honey - 2007/02/16 22:31 Some googling turns up that honey is considered a very good natural sweetener for horses. It seems that it's full of minerals and vitamins - containing an anti-oxidant and that the university of Memphis labs had found that it benefits muscles for horses.

Now this is google and not one of the very knowledgeable ladies here on this forum so maybe I'm quite wrong in answering and could you better wait for their professional advise
