Arizona Man Arrested for Slapping Police Horse

A Tempe, Ariz., man was arrested for suspicion of interference with animals Sunday (April 8) after slapping a police horse on the flank, The Arizona Republic reported.
The police horse was working to control a crowd of about 200 people when David Cross, 28, struck the animal. According to the report, the accused admitted he was aware that horses might run or jump when hit.
