My word!!! It's been quiet!! - 2010/01/22 12:46
So, everyone! What have you been up to? It has been soooo quiet on this site for days! What's happening with your horses? I really am missing hearing what's going on. I haven't been doing too much with Diana lately. The weather has been coooold and there is ice outside. But, tomorrow I'm taking her to the vet to get her teeth floated. Yay! She's been dropping a little weight this winter, (more than usual) and exhibiting the typical symptoms that they need to be done, so that will be addressed tomorrow. I hope she won't need to be sedated, but she tends to get more irritable in the winter, so she just might have to be.  By the way, the vet I'm going to with her practices about 10-15 miles over the state line into Ohio. He used to do farm-calls in Indiana, but doesn't anymore. If I were to have an emergency situation, do you think he'd come out? Just wondering. Well, that's all for now, and I hope you guys give some updates!!!  I never realize how much I miss hearing what people and their horses are doing until things come up and they get busy. Been missing you!

How'd it go at the vet with Diana? Did she behave, need sedated? When the vet came to do Missy and Ziggy's teeth they tried to sedate him but when they put the needle in Ziggy attcked the vet, they gave on that lol and he behaved alright anyway. I went on an awesome ride yesterday, we finally had a warm afternoon! Someone round the road has her horse next door for a while and she came with me. We rode over the bridge and down the road about 5km maybe a little less to the other end of the beach. It was low tide. We rode back to the town down the beach and raced the horses, it was awesome!!! Ziggy can fly when he wants to, he had great fun stretching his legs. We came back through the river, i took of the saddle and took Ziggy for a swim. It was so cold! He loved it though, he was all sweaty and itchy.
